About The Position

The Orthodontic Learning and Development Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall success of dental offices across various markets. This role focuses on ensuring operational success, training and developing Operations Managers and staff, and supporting financial performance and patient satisfaction. The manager will establish systems and processes to enhance patient retention, employee engagement, and financial performance, while also providing crucial administrative support to the practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in dental operations experience.
  • 3+ years of management experience with progressive leadership.
  • Excellent leadership skills in mentoring and coaching teams.
  • Experience in providing training in dentistry or business.
  • Orthodontic experience is required.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to control expenses.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of dental offices to ensure operational success.
  • Lead training and development for Operations Managers and staff in the region.
  • Support Operations Managers in achieving financial performance and revenue growth goals.
  • Establish systems for patient satisfaction, retention, and case acceptance.
  • Manage practice operations systems and provide administrative support to front and back office.
  • Travel to various offices to ensure continuity of support and build positive office culture.
  • Assist in training new Operations Managers and provide ongoing support.
  • Implement best practice procedures for patient relations and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison between non-clinical support functions and in-office personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with government laws and company policies.
