We're seeking a Dental Operations Manager who is excited to split their time between leading high-performing teams and delivering hands-on clinical care. W hy This Role Matters This is a unique hybrid opportunity to: Lead operations and stay connected to patient care Expand access to dental services for underserved populations Drive innovation in an integrated care model (medical + behavioral health + dental) Shape the future of dental services within a growing FQHC This position is intentionally designed as: 50% Operations Leadership 50% clinical service delivery What You'll Do: Operations (50%) Oversee daily operations across dental clinic sites Optimize scheduling, productivity, and patient flow Lead, coach, and support dental teams Monitor KPIs and performance metrics Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, and regulatory standards Support program growth, including mobile and community-based services Clinical (50%) Provide direct patient care consistent with licensure (e.g., hygienist , dental assistant/EFDA ) Model high-quality, patient-centered care Support care team integration and best practices What We're Looking For: D ental professional ( EFDA) Experience in dental practice operations or leadership Strong team leadership and coaching skills Familiarity with FQHCs, PPS, or community health (preferred) Passion for health equity and serving underserved populations Why Promise Healthcare Mission-driven work that makes a real difference Collaborative, integrated care environment Competitive salary + benefits Opportunity to shape and grow dental services across the organization Location: Champaign County & surrounding communities (with opportunities to support mobile services) AMAZING BENEFITS: Medical Dental Vision 401k with employer match FSA Vacation Sick Leave Proposed salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 About Promise : Based in Champaign, Illinois, Promise Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to improving the health of the community through treatment, prevention, and education. We serve all patients regardless of their ability to pay for services and provide robust patient support and enabling services. Promise has deep roots in Champaign's underserved communities and serves a diverse population. Approximately 30% of our patients are Spanish speaking. Champaign-Urbana is a growing, diverse community of 195,000 residents and home to the Big-Ten University of Illinois. Champaign-Urbana is located between Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Champaign is 2.3 hours from the Chicago O'Hare International Airport with daily train transportation.
