The Dental Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the practice runs efficiently while maintaining an outstanding patient experience. This position oversees front office operations, supports clinical teams, and helps guide the practice toward productivity, financial success, and high patient satisfaction. You’ll work closely with dentists and team members to create an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace where both patients and staff feel supported. Requirements

  • 2+ years of management experience (dental practice preferred)
  • 3–5 years of dental front office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Computer proficiency including Denticon
  • Ability to quickly learn practice management software and systems

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficient, compliant workflows
  • Support doctors and team members with treatment planning, billing, and insurance coordination
  • Ensure the office is fully stocked with dental, clinical, and office supplies
  • Manage office systems and procedures to maintain smooth operations
  • Hire, train, develop, and coach team members
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work culture
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to help them succeed in their roles
  • Address employee concerns and support professional growth
  • Generate monthly performance and operational reports
  • Monitor expenses and ensure invoices are submitted promptly through electronic systems
  • Help guide productivity and financial goals for the practice
  • Support patient satisfaction and address patient concerns when needed
  • Assist with community outreach and marketing events
  • Ensure the practice maintains a strong reputation for excellent patient service
