About The Position

The Dental Office Manager at Generations Dental Care is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multi-specialty dental practice, ensuring efficient office protocols and procedures. This role involves providing leadership and support to both clinical and non-clinical teams, maintaining compliance, and coordinating personnel to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Dental business office experience (3+ years).
  • Excellent computer skills, with Dentrix Ascend experience being a plus.
  • Ability to present a dental treatment plan.
  • Critical thinking abilities, including decision-making skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); associate's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient and employee contact.

Responsibilities

  • Create, establish, and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiency.
  • Interview, hire, and train office staff using best practices.
  • Responsible for monthly scheduling of the treatment coordinators.
  • Manage provider's schedules, accommodating time-off requests.
  • Coordinate and moderate weekly doctor meetings.
