Price Creek Dentistry in North Port, FL is looking for a full-time Dental Front Office-Business Assistant to join our team. This is an administrative role where many important clerical and administrative tasks are completed while assisting our patients at the front desk. The ideal candidate has the following experience in a dental or medical office: Scheduling Insurance verifications Treatment plan presentations Professional verbal and written communication skills Being approachable, empathetic, and patient‑focused is needed as well. Candidates with previous dental or medical front desk experience will be most successful in this role. Work Schedule: Monday 7:30 am-5:00 pm, Tuesday 7:30 am-6:00 pm, Wednesday 7:30 am-6:00 pm, Thursday 7:30 am-5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am-5:00 p.m Candidates must be able to work these hours and be dependable to report to work on time. More about the role Greet and welcome patients as they enter the office to create a great first impression of our team Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential
