Dental Associates MNMaplewood, MN

About The Position

Dental Associates of St. Paul is seeking a skilled Dental Lab Technician to join our in-house lab team, located within our St. Paul dental clinic and serving our other metro clinic locations as well. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for more hands-on collaboration with dentists and a high-quality lab environment - or for someone looking to grow their skills in a supportive, clinical setting. Why Join Us? Our in-house lab model offers the unique advantage of working side-by-side with the dentists you're creating for—leading to faster feedback, better results, and true collaboration. We have a high volume of removable prosthetics (dentures and partials), and are steadily expanding our offerings to include fixed crown and bridge work. Whether you're an experienced technician looking for a role with more ownership and direct impact, or you’ve got the right mindset and are ready to learn, we’d love to talk with you.

Requirements

  • Prior dental lab experience strongly preferred - but not required for the right candidate
  • Strong eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills
  • Attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach
  • Confidence communicating with clinical teams and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Willingness to learn, as we will teach the right individual who shows aptitude and commitment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform fine motor tasks for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of cases/materials (0–10 lbs regularly, up to 25 lbs occasionally)
  • Must be able to read prescriptions, interpret documentation, and communicate effectively
  • Visual acuity for fine detail, depth perception, and color accuracy
