About The Position

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician III (Dentures) opportunity at NDX Rogers in Athens, TN. The regular hours for this position are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 12:00pm on Fridays, and subject to change from time to time. Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Detail oriented.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Removable Dental Laboratory Technician.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins.
• Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship.
• Post dam upper models.
• Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship.
• Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade.
• Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics.
• If setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up.
• Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved.
• All other duties as assigned.
