Position Summary The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional preventive and periodontal care while building trusting, long-term relationships with patients. This role is ideal for a hygienist who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about education, teamwork, and whole-person oral health. Requirements

  • Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with digital charting and dental software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, scaling and root planing, and preventive treatments
  • Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images
  • Conduct periodontal assessments and accurately chart findings
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and the oral-systemic health connection
  • Apply preventive agents such as fluoride and sealants
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical team members to support individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation
  • Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented clinical environment
