About The Position
Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join the team at our Together for Health Dental Honesdale office. The role focuses on delivering outstanding patient care while providing preventative dental hygiene care.
Requirements
- Associate degree from a (2) year, specialized dental program at a community college or university.
- Licensing in Dental Hygiene from the State of Pennsylvania is required.
- Maintain certifications in x-ray and CPR.
- Registered Dental Hygienist
Responsibilities
- Conduct oral health assessments
- Review medical and dental history
- Remove plaque, calculus and tartar
- Recommend oral hygiene instructions to improve patient's oral health
- Apply fluoride and sealants and take radiographs to review for dental disease
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Administer local anesthetics when necessary
- Assist the dentist during examinations, communicate treatment plans and schedule next visits.
- Other duties as assigned.
