About The Position
Are you a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who is passionate about making a difference in patients' oral health? We're seeking a passionate RDH to join our team in providing top-notch dental care to our patients. As our RDH, you will have the opportunity to perform coronal polishing while building rapport with our young patients. We want you to bring your passion, skills, and drive to help patients achieve beautiful smiles and better health while creating “wow” experiences at every visit! Dentistry for Children has provided high-quality pediatric dental care to the central New Jersey community for over 40 years. Our conveniently located practices are staffed by caring, consummate professionals who are dedicated to providing comprehensive oral health care that both corrects a patient’s issues today and teaches them and their caregivers how to prevent issues tomorrow and beyond. We aim to create a foundation of optimal oral health for every child and a supportive, inspiring atmosphere for every team member.
Requirements
- State Dental Hygiene Licensure
- Must have completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive oral exams and assessments of patients' oral health
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures
- Administer fluoride treatments and take X-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
- Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in patient records
- Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to ensure high-quality
