Place of performance: The Dental Hygienist Services will be performed on-site Federal Medical Center (FMC) Fort Worth. This is a federal correctional facility. You must pass mandatory background, credit check and drug screening.
Requirements
- Candidate is required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of Texas.
- Dental radiology certification
- Anesthesia certification
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Provide dental prophylaxis on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff.
- Provide periodontal scaling and root planning on inmate patients who are referred by the dental staff.
- Provide complete periodontal charting on inmate patients.
- Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.
- Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis.
- Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the Dentist.
