Requirements

Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
Active NY state dental hygiene license
CPR Certification
1+ year experience preferred, but new grads are highly encouraged to apply

Nice To Haves

Anesthesia certification (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

Greet and seat patients with professionalism and warmth
Conduct periodontal assessments, perform scaling, root planing, and apply fluoride treatments
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventative strategies
Maintain detailed and compliant clinical notes
Collaborate with dentists to identify and communicate treatment needs
Adhere to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines
