About The Position

Are you a dental hygienist seeking flexibility, variety, and a supportive team environment? Smile Brands is looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to support our offices in the Portland, Salem, and Vancouver, WA areas.
This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys a flexible schedule while still being part of a consistent, professional team. You’ll provide coverage for planned absences such as vacations and medical leave, working at locations and times that align with your availability.

Requirements

• Active Dental Hygienist license (OR or WA, as applicable)
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and professionalism
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A licensed dental hygienist who is passionate about patient care, education, and practicing at the top of their scope to improve oral health outcomes.
• Either an active state hygiene license or eligibility to become licensed (new grads are welcome!)
• A current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• Laser certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality standard of care through preventive treatments, diagnostics, and evidence-based protocols.
• Educate and motivate patients toward better oral and overall health.
• Collaborate with dentists and hygiene teammates to co-diagnose and personalize treatment.
• Create a welcoming, judgement-free environment for every patient.
• Stay current with new technologies and instruments that advance care.
