The prospective employee will provide Dental Hygienist duties and provide support which will include all clinical activities needed for the inmate population at the FCI Jesup. Pay: $42.05 per hour. Sign-on bonus: $2,500. Benefits: 401(k). Dental insurance. Health insurance. Paid time off. Sick leave. Vision insurance. 11 paid holidays. Hours : 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday between 7:30am-4:00pm, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

Must be certified as a Dental Hygienist.
Applicants must have/provide CPR/BLS certification.
Must provide diplomas and transcripts and Dental Assistant license.

Responsibilities

Provide dental prophylaxis on inmates who are referred by the dental staff.
Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.
Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis.
Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist.
Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the dental staff.
Perform necessary paperwork related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as directed by dental staff.
