  • Conduct dental cleanings by removing accretions, stains, and deposits above and below gum lines using dental tools.
  • Perform oral cancer screenings by checking lymph nodes for signs of swelling or soreness.
  • Review and update patient medical histories, ensuring accurate records.
  • Document dental decay and disease, assisting dentists in diagnosing and treatment planning.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments to the highest standards.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and promote preventative care.
  • Collaborate with the dentist to deliver personalized treatment plans.
  • Help patients maintain a dental hygiene regimen tailored to their needs.
  • Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • Current Hygiene License issued by the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Hepatitis B immunization is up-to-date.
  • Proficiency in administering local anesthetics and operating x-ray machines.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
  • In-depth knowledge of oral hygiene practices and dental health topics.
  • Availability on Saturdays is required.
