About The Position

Chris Mohler DDS is adding to the hygiene team due to growth of the practice and seeking a Part Time Dental Hygienist in Beaufort, South Carolina! Eligible for Sign on Bonus! Join us as we continue to provide excellent clinical service to patients and experience collaboration across this great dental team. This practice has a long tenured team with great team work and a very collaborative culture. Requirements

Licensed as a Dental Hygienist in the state of South Carolina
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
Current BLS/CPR certifications
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
Experience with dental practice software, Dentrix preferred
Seeking a new team collaborator that is open, positive and flexible

Nice To Haves

1 or more years of RDH clinical experience nice to have - but new grads are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience
Screening patients and providing quality care during check-ups
Educating patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care
Reviewing patient's history and charting
Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
Documents area of existing restorations
Use of X-ray
Support the dentist with procedures as needed
