About The Position

Rockledge Dental is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist in Rockledge, Florida to join their clinical team. The role focuses on providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. The practice is committed to comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, responsibilities include exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. The team works closely in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology such as Overjet, a CBCT scanner, hygiene lasers, and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), which are utilized to deliver exceptional patient care and support hygienists in their work.

Requirements

  • Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients.
  • Provide the highest level of care at all times.
  • Under limited supervision, provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants.
  • Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
  • Provide nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
  • Other duties as assigned
