About The Position

We are looking for an amazing, enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our family. Our hygienists work in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to provide the highest standard of dental care. They perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. Why Choose Salud? 32 hours per week - 4-day work week. No nights or weekends! Tired of doing accelerated hygiene or trying to cram one more patient into an already packed schedule? We schedule based on our patients’ needs! Hygiene appointments are typically one hour, with an option for 90-minute appointments as needed. Save your wrists, back, and neck! Our unique Medical Dental Integration program allows you to step away from chairside hygiene treatment and instead perform preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of your day, each day. Love working with children? This role allows you to provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools that need our help the most! You’ll have access to state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-rays, diode lasers, Cavitrons, intra-oral scanners, CBCT machines, integrated electronic medical dental records, and voice-activated perio charting. Continuous learning opportunities that advance your skills and confidence are supported by up to a $2,000 annual CE benefit and five paid CE days (prorated based on FTE status), as well as an optional diode laser use training and certification. SALUD fully covers the cost of obtaining and renewing a Colorado Dental Hygienist License. SALUD will provide comprehensive malpractice coverage for all employed Dental Hygienists. SALUD will pay for one professional society membership annually of the employee’s choice.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
Maintain current CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

Previous Dental Hygienist experience desired, but not required
