About The Position
Baystate Dental in Holyoke is looking for a Part-time Dental Hygienist, to join our clinical team, and provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Full-time to be offered in the near future if desired. We are committed to providing comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at Baystate Dental , you'll provide exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, all while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will be provided a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team. Great for new grads! We also understand the importance technology plays in providing top notch dental care, and strive to keep up with the latest. We are currently utilizing hygiene lasers; 3D printers; Primescan; Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), a game changer in the hygiene world; and Overjet AI. You'll have the best technology to provide your patients with top quality care! Previous experience is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of MA. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Requirements
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene
- License: Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Certification s: Local anesthesia certification preferred and CPR/First Aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols
