Position Summary The Dental Hygienist plays a critical role in delivering outstanding patient care by providing licensed hygiene services, educating patients, and leading the non-surgical periodontal program in partnership with the doctor. This role is perfect for a hygienist who values excellence, efficiency, and meaningful patient relationships. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
  • Current dental hygiene license in the state of employment
  • Active OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control certifications
  • Comfortable working with modern dental software and digital workflows
  • Passion for patient care, teamwork, and continuous growth

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with patients
  • Review, verify, and document patient health histories
  • Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and recommended treatments
  • Perform clinical hygiene procedures including:
  • Diagnostic digital X-rays
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
  • Non-surgical periodontal therapy
  • Co-diagnosis of restorative treatment with the doctor
  • Assess patient needs and provide sealants, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as appropriate
  • Help create a positive, comfortable, and high-energy patient experience every day
