We're seeking a flexible, enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to serve as a Float Hygienist across our Columbus-area locations. This role supports practices in Worthington Hills, Canal Winchester, Upper Arlington, and Grove City, based on team and patient care needs. Requirements
- Active Ohio Dental Hygiene License
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental technology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different clinical environments
- Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Columbus-area offices
Nice To Haves
- Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification preferred
- Prior experience with dental software is a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments
- Evaluate oral health, take digital X-rays, and collaborate with dentists on treatment plans
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain infection control protocols through sterilization and operatory turnover
- Accurately document patient records and treatment plans in dental software
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction
- Travel to designated locations as scheduled based on office coverage needs
