About The Position

The Dental Hygiene Program Director at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Dental Hygiene program at the Modesto campus. Requirements

• Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct Dental Hygiene experience.
• Active dental or dental hygiene license with no disciplinary actions.
• Two years of teaching experience in dental hygiene programs.
• Minimum of 2,000 hours in direct patient care as a registered dental hygienist.
• Proficient in curriculum design and program administration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day delivery of the Dental Hygiene program meets school policy guidelines.
• Manage and oversee all instructors in their didactic, clinical, and laboratory roles.
• Monitor student academic management to ensure acceptable pass rates and licensure exam outcomes.
• Maintain documentation of student marks, attendance, and remediation.
• Evaluate instructors and implement educational in-service plans.
• Set goals and manage reprimands for instructors and students.
