About The Position

The position involves providing clinical instruction to students in the Dental Hygiene Program. The role requires participation in calibration and team meetings to ensure effective teaching and evaluation of student performance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program / registered dental hygienist.
• Current Massachusetts Dental Hygiene License.
• Current Massachusetts Local Anesthesia Permit L.
• Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene or closely related field.
• Strong clinical experience in dental hygiene.
• Strong skills in supportive communication and guiding students to develop and demonstrate correct techniques.
• Experience utilizing digital radiography and computerized dental management software.

Nice To Haves

• Instructional experience in an academic or clinical setting.
• Willingness to learn academic software to assess/evaluate student performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction to students in the Dental Hygiene Program.
• Use established calibration protocol to evaluate student performance of clinical skills and related practice procedures pertaining to radiography and office management software.
• Attend weekly team meetings.
• Participate in monthly program faculty meetings.
• Engage in curriculum/calibration meetings as scheduled.
