About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Front Office Coordinator who brings strong treatment planning and advanced insurance billing knowledge to our growing practice. This role requires someone who deeply understands PPO breakdowns, claim management, and financial presentation. The ideal candidate will confidently manage both patient-facing coordination and the financial systems that support the practice. Two days per week, this position operates independently in the office. The right person must be self-sufficient, organized, and comfortable managing a high level of responsibility. Requirements

  • Previous experience in dental treatment planning or a related role highly preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily schedule and patient flow efficiently
  • Answer phones and maintain a warm, professional patient experience
  • Coordinate appointments and follow-up communication
  • Maintain organized, compliant front office systems
  • Present treatment plans clearly and confidently
  • Educate patients on insurance benefits, limitations, and out-of-network implications
  • Discuss financial arrangements and payment options
  • Support strong case acceptance through relationship-building and trust
  • Verify and accurately interpret insurance benefits
  • Navigate complex insurance situations, including Delta and credentialing nuances
  • Submit claims accurately and manage follow-up
  • Address denied or underpaid claims proactively
  • Maintain accurate patient ledgers and collections
