Dental Front Desk - Team Lead (Central)
About The Position
The Role: Family Smiles LLC in Albuquerque, NM is hiring a Lead Front Desk Receptionist with dental experience to join our talented and dedicated team. This position will be focused on overseeing the Front Desk / Receptionist team, including training new employees, billing and claim filing, scheduling appointments, assisting with operational goals, and providing excellent patient service. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years previous Dental Office Experience
- Emphasis on Dental Billing and Dental Insurances
- Strong Leadership experience
- Dentrix and/or Eaglesoft

- Bilingual (Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Train new employees
- Ensure excellent patient/customer service by staff
- Provide experience and guidance in insurance claims and billing processes
- Support the Office/Regional Managers with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
- Schedule patient appointments per month and daily patient goals
- Answer phones and confirm appointments
- Greet and check-in patients
- Accurately verify dental benefits
- Maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
- Collect payments, co-payments, and deductibles
- Create insurance claims and submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies
- Pull patient charts for future appointments when necessary
- Maintain a clean and professional office environment
- Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
