About The Position

This posting is open exclusively to current AL DOC incumbent employees. NaphCare is hiring a Dental Clinical Coordinator to join our team of medical professionals in the Alabama Department of Corrections - G.K. Fountain in Atmore, AL. As a Dental Clinical Coordinator you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to support staff, physicians, and patients ensuring compliance, quality care, and efficient workflows. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health and medical needs.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in WY
• Must possess an active BLS CPR Certification
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation
• Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Previous work in a corrections facility preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Direct daily clinic operations, manage staff schedules, oversee inventory/supplies, and implement policies to meet regulatory standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments, facilitate care, and act as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
• Assist in medical procedures, perform screenings, or manage patient flow to ensure quality care and safety.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and ethical guidelines.
