About The Position

The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of three dental clinics, ensuring efficient management of dental teams and patient care. This role emphasizes work-life balance and employee experience, promoting a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a dental practice or equivalent office management experience.
  • Some college study or a college degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in supervising, training, and evaluating staff's performance required.
  • Experience in measuring and optimizing customer service and handling patient complaints preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Dentrix software or other electronic practice management software preferred.
  • Covid-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment.

  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide management and oversight for the daily operations of three dental clinics.
  • Supervise daily operations at the Beverly Blvd Clinic, where all Dental Assistants report.
  • Establish and manage Dental Care Teams at the Beverly Blvd Clinic.
  • Ensure Dental Assistants conduct visit preps and present at daily morning huddles.
  • Follow up with no-shows and cancellations by Dental Assistants.
  • Manage patient queries and complaints alongside Dental Supervisors.
  • Monitor appointment schedules to minimize wait times and maximize chair capacity.
  • Ensure Patient Navigator closes referrals and schedules patients with unscheduled treatment plans.
  • Coordinate with Dental Front Office Staff for appointment confirmations and patient assignments.
  • Motivate and guide the dental team to achieve operational and professional goals.
  • Assess staffing needs and manage monthly staffing schedules for efficiency.
  • Coordinate and approve time-off requests with Dental Supervisors.
