We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of Dental Ceramist to join our DiMartino Dental Lab location in Renton, Washington. Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continuous employment. Requirements
- Knowledge of dental lab products, materials, terminology, and techniques preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in porcelain layering, contouring, and finishing of ceramic restorations
- High level of attention to detail with exceptional quality standards
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent hand/eye coordination
- Ability to utilize magnification goggles for extended periods of time
- Team player is a must with willingness to learn new responsibilities
- High School diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for producing the esthetics that our customers have come to expect
- Responsible for facial cutback layering of porcelain, contouring, and glazing of high end anterior and posterior zirconia and e.max restorations
- Proficiency in full contour crown and bridge contouring and stain and glaze
- Ability to produce artistic, esthetic, and consistent, high-quality porcelain and staining work
- Ability to do final quality inspection of crown and bridge cases with efficiency
- Ability to match and create custom shades and meet tight deadlines
- Operate a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment
- Maintain clean equipment and work area
- All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required
