About The Position

The position involves performing chairside dental assisting and radiography in a dental clinic, specifically with patients who have received sedation and outpatient general anesthesia. The role includes assisting with oral surgery procedures, maintaining oral surgery instruments, trays, and sterilization practices, and setting up dental operatories. Additionally, the position requires instructing students on proper infection controls and protocols, scheduling cases and procedures, maintaining department records and charts, handling post-operative emergencies, assisting with student clinical evaluations and attendance records, and monitoring and distributing narcotic and non-narcotic prescriptions. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the clinic and sterilization room and ordering supplies.
