Responsibilities
- Take dental X-rays
- Take alginate impressions
- Pour alginate impressions
- Pass instruments to the doctor
- Take intraoral and extraoral photographs
- Prepare rooms for treatment
- Clean and disinfect rooms after treatment
- Polish teeth with prophy paste and cup
- Make entries into patient charts regarding procedures completed and clinical notes
- Sterilize and organize instruments
Requirements
- Valid Registered Dental Assistant license
- Valid Certified Dental Assistant certification
- 1 year of dental assisting experience
