The Dental Assistant position supports the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19 at the White Earth Service Unit in White Earth, MN. The role involves performing chairside assistant duties across various dental treatments and supporting the dental team with clinical functions.

Requirements

• Must pass pre-employment examination.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must have Measles and Rubella immunization if born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required prior to entrance on duty.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Must undergo a pre-employment fingerprint check and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during all routine and complex dental procedures.
• Relay post-treatment instructions to patients.
• Perform routine laboratory duties, such as preparing materials, disinfecting and sterilizing instruments, and preparing tray setups.
