Requirements

  • Basic chairside dental assisting experience is required.
  • Candidates must have prior hands-on chairside experience to be considered.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
  • CDA certification preferred but not required
  • NH Radiology certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with diverse or underserved populations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Being a calm, friendly presence for patients before, during, and after treatment
  • Assisting dentists and hygienists chairside during dental procedures
  • Preparing and maintaining clean, well-stocked operatories
  • Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) in compliance with the NH Dental Practice Act
  • Performing delegated dental assisting duties per scope and protocols
  • Ensuring strict infection control, sterilization, and safety standards
  • Managing supplies, equipment, and patient records
  • Supporting scheduling, patient education, and administrative needs
  • Collaborating with a passionate team dedicated to community health
