About The Position

The Dental Assistant functions as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing various tasks in a surgical or clinic setting as instructed by a licensed professional. Essential functions include gathering and maintaining equipment, instruments, and supplies for dental procedures, assisting licensed professionals during dental procedures in clinic or surgical settings, maintaining a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patient care, performing patient charting, documentation, and obtaining x-rays, sterilizing instruments, handling medications, and managing specimens. This position is On-Call/PRN with 0 guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Utah Radiology Certification (If working in dental clinic)
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
• Basic computer skills
