About The Position

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full- time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield, OH . This dental assistant position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry and offers full benefits which include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position. Requirements

1 year experience is strongly preferred
certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license
Per ODRC policy, this facility is a smoke-free facility.

Responsibilities

This position will include both administrative and routine chairside duties that include preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care.
Administrative duties are required for this position, and you will be trained in this area.
