In this role, you’ll assist the dentist with patient care, perform clinical and technical procedures under supervision, prepare treatment areas, and document procedures using both electronic and paper records. Requirements

  • Dental Assistant licenses or certificate, new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • CPR certification

Nice To Haves

  • Expanded function permit preferred
  • 1+ years of Dental Assisting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist with patient care
  • Perform clinical and technical procedures under supervision
  • Prepare treatment areas
  • Document procedures using both electronic and paper records
  • Assist with procedures and exams, supporting dentists in delivering high-quality care
  • Prepare treatment areas, managing instruments, and documenting procedures accurately
  • Communicate treatment needs clearly to patients and parents, helping everyone feel comfortable and confident
  • Create a fun, friendly, and reassuring environment for young patients
  • Build trusting, positive relationships with patients and families, making each visit a pleasant experience
  • Anticipate provider and team needs, while maintaining a respectful and kind demeanor
  • Proficient in daily office workflow, scheduling, and maintaining organized records
  • Comfortable with computers and electronic documentation, learning new systems quickly
  • Detail-oriented and dependable, helping the clinic run smoothly every day
  • Support both clinics while making patients and families feel welcome and cared for
