About The Position

Simply Dental is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join the team at Holden Dental Care. As a Dental Assistant in our practice you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional care and service to our patients, helping to create healthier smiles every day. Holden Dental Care is a community-based office with the support and resources of Simply Dental Management. Our Resource Center Teams cover the business and administrative support sides of the practice to allow our office teams to focus on providing outstanding patient care.

Requirements

  • You have a valid and current MA State Dental Assistant License
  • You have valid X-ray Certification
  • You have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • You are CPR & First Aid Certification
  • You are knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and changes
  • You are computer proficient including Microsoft office and Practice Management Software

Responsibilities

  • Delivering quality care to every patient
  • Preparing patients for exam and treatment
  • Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
  • Preparing tray set-ups for dental procedures
  • Effectively directing patient flow through clear communication and teamwork
  • Sterilizing and disinfecting all used equipment and instruments
  • Documenting all procedures performed in treatment chart
  • Complying with all standards and protocols of OSHA & HIPPA
  • Assisting the doctor during procedures including preparation and documentation
  • Changing and removing wires, brackets, and adhesive, full digital impressions, and workflow, preparing teeth for bonding
  • Working in a fast-paced environment possessing excellent interpersonal and organizational skills establishing positive relationships with our team and patients
  • Communicating professionally both orally and in writing with a service-oriented approach
  • Maintaining a caring and friendly environment that reinforces our company's core values
