About The Position

Keystone Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant for their growing practice located in Medina, OH. A successful candidate will have a friendly disposition and the desire to work with children of all ages and abilities. The office creates positive dental experiences for young patients and their families in a fun, nurturing environment. Experience is preferred, but not required, as the practice will train the right person for the position. This position will be 30-34 hours per week and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements

X-ray certification (Ohio radiology license) required or obtainable quickly
Current CPR certification
Strong communication skills and genuine love for working with children and families
Patient, calm demeanor – ability to put nervous kids at ease is essential
Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and professional

Nice To Haves

Previous dental assisting experience preferred
Pediatric experience is a big plus!

Responsibilities

Assist chairside during examinations, cleanings, sealants, fillings, extractions, and other pediatric procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments
Take digital radiographs
Provide patient education and chairside support to help children feel comfortable and relaxed
Help create a warm, positive, and fun environment for anxious or special-needs patients
