The HealthCare Connection may be the perfect fit for you! We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant with a professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills to join our Mt. Healthy and Lincoln Heights Health Center locations. This role is critical in supporting dental operations and delivering a positive, comfortable patient experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED (required)
- Ohio Radiographer’s License (required)
- Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent on-the-job training
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with dental and infectious control standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn electronic dental record systems
- Team-oriented, flexible, and open to supervision
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures
- Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist, Dental Hygienist, and/or EFDA
- Record exam findings and maintain accurate documentation
- Monitor sterilization cycles and follow infection control protocols
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and ensure clinical readiness
- Support patient flow and clinic operations
- Assist with various dental procedures as needed
