About The Position

Center for Family Health (CFH) is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Jackson, Michigan. As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), CFH is dedicated to Opening the Door to Healthcare for All by providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dental assistant experience or completion of a dental program preferred
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Nice To Haves

• Dental assistant experience or completion of a dental program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dental providers
• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Assist with procedures, lab cases, and patient education
• Document care in the electronic health record
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance standards
