Position Summary: As a Dental Assistant at AllWays Health, you’ll play a key role in supporting dental care delivery. You’ll assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the treatment area is clean and organized, manage sterilization of instruments, and help provide a positive and comfortable experience for each patient.

Requirements

Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Commitment to teamwork and quality care
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials according to infection control protocols.
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures; take intraoral X-rays when indicated.
Assist the dentist by passing instruments, suctioning, and mixing materials as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care.
Document procedures accurately in patient records.
Ensure dental equipment is functioning properly through regular maintenance.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and anticipate needs.
Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.
Remain CPR certified and assist in dental or medical emergencies as needed.
Represent AllWays Health in a professional and compassionate manner, both in the clinic and in the community.
