About The Position

Adams Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Columbus, Georgia. This role offers an opportunity to join a community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business, and operations professionals. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45am to 5:00pm, including a one-hour lunch break.

Requirements

4 Handed Dental Assisting Experience in a General Dental Practice
Experience in fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations, OSHA and HIPAA
Experience with digital software
Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Experienced EFDA preferred
Denticon experience a plus

Responsibilities

Assist the Dentists chairside
Welcomes patients
Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
Instrument sterilization according to regulations
Maintains accurate patient records
Lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Maintain clean and stocked operatories
