A little about us Our dentists and team have the experience, knowledge, and the personality to soothe away any dental anxiety our patients may have. We are constantly studying dental research articles and taking continuing education courses so that we may learn about the latest dental upgrades in materials and technology. This enables us to offer our patients the best dental care available in the Charles Town area. Your role as a Dental Assistant As a Full-Time Dental Assistant at Westover Family Dentistry, you will be the welcoming clinical point of contact for our valued patients, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. Your daily tasks will include greeting patients in the patient lounge, providing office tours, supporting providers both Doctor and Dental Hygienist with xrays, iTero scanning, charting and various dental procedures including fillings, root canals, crowns, implants, dentures, and orthodontics. You will provide excellent patient care and support while upholding all office policies including HIPPA and OSHA guidelines. The dental assistant role will also include sterilization of instruments and proper set up and breakdown of rooms. When necessary, you'll assist the front office as needed and contact patients to schedule recare and pending treatment plans. You may be included in the supply ordering process and other various tasks that may develop.
