About The Position
Collier Hills Dental is hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers an opportunity to join a community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business, and operations professionals. The schedule for this full-time position includes Monday and Wednesday from 7:45am-5:00pm, Tuesday from 6:45am-4:00pm, Thursday from 6:45am-2:00pm, and one Friday per month from 6:45am-1pm. Requirements
- 4 Handed Dental Assisting Experience in a General Dental Practice required
- Experienced EFDA
- Experience in fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations, OSHA and HIPAA
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience assisting with Endo, Oral Surgery, Basic and Major Restorative Cases, Implants a plus!
- Dentrix or Denticon experiecne a plus!
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
