Requirements

Certified or trained Dental Assistant (certification preferred).
Comfortable supporting both dentists and hygienists in a clinical setting.
A friendly and professional individual with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during pediatric dental procedures.
Support hygienists during patient visits as needed.
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
Assess dental condition and needs of patient; uses patient screening procedures, to include medical history review, dental charting, and charge entries.
Help create a calm, positive experience for pediatric patients and parents.
Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate clinical records.
Maintain confidentiality and follow office policies while following HIPAA guidelines.
Follow all safety, infection control, and office protocols.
