About The Position
Wellington Smiles is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant in Wellington, Florida. This role offers a collaborative community of high-quality clinical, business, and operations professionals. The schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and every other Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with 60-minute lunch breaks. The practice emphasizes a patient-centric community approach, work/life balance, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Requirements
- Florida Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
- X-Ray Certification required
- Organized Dental Assistant with at least 3 years of dentistry experience required
- Polished, professional, organized, multi-tasker with Cosmetic and digital dental experience
- Ability to be proactive in work
- Ability to present treatment plans to patients
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills with great positive energy, empathetic, kind and outgoing
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
