Leap Kids Dental has an exciting opportunity for a talented and self-motivated individual to become a member of our team as a Dental Assistant. In this role you will assist the dentist with patients to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Perform clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist. Prepare patient operatory and equipment and assist the doctor during examination and treatment. Please Note: This role supports two locations - Kansas City and Raymore, MO clinics and will require you to support both these locations: 401 Laurus Dr, Raymore, MO 64083 and 4135 N. Mulberry Dr, Kansas City, MO 64116 In summary, the goal is to serve and provide superior support to doctors and to be an example of respect and caring for our customers and office personnel.
Requirements
- Dental Assistant permit
- 1+ years of Dental Assisting preferred.
- Someone with exceptional customer service skills and has the ability to learn and retain procedures and policies.
- Computer literacy using google suites
- You can work independently and be able to anticipate the needs of the team and doctor.
- Overall someone who is respectful to fellow team members, patients, and the Doctor and is genuinely nice and kind.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification preferred.
- Expanded function permit preferred
Responsibilities
- Must communicate clearly and calmly the treatment needs to parent and patient utilizing the prescribed treatment plan.
- Assist the Dentist with procedures and exams as well as other dental assisting related duties.
- Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.
- Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records and forms
