About The Position

Fairview Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is adding to the team and now hiring a Full Time Dental Assistant in Mooresville, North Carolina. As a Full Time Dental Assistant , come join our long tenured team of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals. Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule Monday through Friday 6:40am - 3:00pm 60 minute lunches

Requirements

Active North Carolina Dental Assistant II certification or equivalent hours
Dental Assistant training/school certification
2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience, required
Dental Assistant II certificate
Experience with impressions, temporary's
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Experience with digital software, preferably Eaglesoft
Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Assist the Dentists chairside
Welcomes patients
Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
Instrument sterilization according to regulations
Maintains accurate patient records
Lab tasks as instructed
Provide post-operative care instructions
Maintain clean and stocked operatories
