Requirements

• Dental Assisting experience preferred
• California-approved radiation safety certification (required for taking X-rays)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong chairside assisting and organizational skills
• Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with digital systems and dental software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures
• Prepare and set up operatories and ensure proper sterilization and infection control protocols
• Take diagnostic radiographs in accordance with California requirements
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records
• Support efficient patient flow by preparing patients, communicating clearly, and anticipating provider needs
• Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Assist with inventory, supply management, and back-office tasks
• Contribute to a team-centered, patient-first practice culture
