We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting and will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a positive experience for our patients. If you are cross trained in the front office and are interested in both a clinical and administrator position this is the perfect opportunity for you! Schedule: Monday - Thursday

Requirements

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental systems and equipment is essential.
Knowledge of infection control practices and medical documentation standards is required.
Experience as a dental receptionist or in managing patient interactions is advantageous.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques is beneficial.
Dental Assistant Certification in Texas

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Manage patient records and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Conduct medical imaging as required, including X-rays and other diagnostic tools.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
