About The Position
The Dental Assistant will assist dentist in delivery of patient care. The Dental Assistant Assists dentist in delivery of patient care. Organizes dental clinic equipment and materials. Coordinates operating room cases and assists staff dentists. Enhances professional development through participating in in-services and continuing education programs. Communicates with physicians, dentists, nursing staff, and ancillary hospital personnel, patients and patients’ families.
Requirements
- Education: High school or equivalent.
- Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Virginia Dental Radiation Safety certificate; AHA BLS-HCP required.
- Other Minimum Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills.
